Have you ever been at a concert and wanted to show your sick friend who was performing? Or have you ever wanted to video chat whith someone in the middle of a long road trip? To do these things, you’d need a ton of equipment (a laptop, a charging cable, a webcam. . .) right? [...]
umpcfever.com has posted a bunch of pictures (most blurry) of the new iPhone. They confirm a few things that we already have heard as rumors like the compass, video recording, auto focus, battery percentage, and the ability to send video in MMS. The link I’ve posted above is the translated version into English, originally in [...]

Copyright © 2009 PatrickJ. Visit the original article at http://justanotheriphoneblog.com/wordpress/general/what-do-you-think-of-the-pres-ringtone/ . I’ve been taking a look at quite a bit of the Palm Pre coverage this week, leading up to its launch next weekend – demo videos, user guide excerpts and so on. I also spotted a post the other day (at PreCentral.net) saying that [...]
It would be safe to assume that next week is going to be filled with next-gen iPhone related news and rumors, so why not start it off with a bang? Apparently a Chinese blog has posted what it claims to be the very first photos of the next generation iPhone in action. The photos are close-ups [...]
A Chinese blog has posted photos of what it claims are of Apple's next generation iPhone. The photos reveal that Apple's next generation will have auto-focus camera and a digital compass or magnetometer just like we had heard earlier. The Chinese blog has clarified that since the device that was...

Filed under: Humor , OS , Odds and ends Being the Disney- Pixar fanatics that we are, my wife and I went to see Up Saturday night (in Disney Digital 3D, of course) at our local theater. Remembering the appearance of the Mac startup sound as Wall-E 's waking noise in last year's Pixar epic, and the brief shot of an Apple-themed racer in Cars , I decided to look for Apple-themed Easter eggs in the movie. By the time we were at the end of the film, I was beginning to think that there weren't going…
Apple will open a new shop in Beijing, China. The new shop will be different to the others of the world. It will use very Chinese style like pictured above. It would be great idea to turn the Apple shop to be one of the must-go for tourist.

Earlier today, Hong Kong technology site UMPC leaked a series of photos of the next iPhone. Mr. Gadget thinks that was not the next iPhone. They are only iPhone OS 3.0 screen shots. But, if you read the source from Hong Kong carefully, you will know they are not talking about iPhone OS 3.0. According [...]

A YouTube soundboard with many famous YouTube viral video sounds. Once again another sound board, there’s too many of them that’s for sure. Like all sound boards, this one plays sound clips from various viral videos and memes on YouTube. Shoop da whoop, Dr. Octogonaus, Bob Saget, etc.

Lest it be lost in the coming maelstrom of Apple iPhone 3G 3.0 and Palm Pre news, let it be known the HTC S511 Snap (aptly labeled a Stepford Wives take on the Blackberry Bold) has popped up at Best Buy a few days before its June 7 release. [ BGR ]
Hell yeah! It's the first images of the next generation iPhone in the wild! The more I'm learning from the handful of [blurry] pictures that have just posted on a Hong Kong blog, the more I'm convinced they are the real deal: the magnetic compass, autofocus camera, video recording capability, MMS capability, CPU log/activity, along [...]
Smartcard is common in many countries for shopping. You put a deposit in the card, when you need to buy stuff, just use the smartcard to pay. A Taiwan iPhone user put a smartcard chip in the iPhone 3G. He showed us there are enough room inside the iPhone 3G. So, it is possible to [...]

While there are so many rumors around the net, Hong Kong breaks the news by bringing the real photos of the next iPhone 3rd generation. The forum user said this is the world’s exclusive preview of the future iPhone 3rd generation. It is brought by his friend from US. From the source, the user said [...]

A Chinese-language blog UMPCFeaver posted pictures recently that its claims are the first ever photos from a functioning next-generation iPhone. The site translated through Google displays images of iPhone OS 3.0 running some of the rumored new iPhone features we covered here , here , here and here . According to the report, the new iPhone contains an auto-focusing camera that uses an on-screen square that can be moved around with a combination of taps and dragging to choose the object to focus on. The…
Chinese blog UMPCFever (translated link) has photographically confirmed two previously rumored features of the iPhone OS 3.0—an autofocus feature for the still picture camera, and a digital compass—along with new details on their user interfaces. Believed to rely upon new camera hardware found in the upcoming 2009 iPhone, the autofocus feature places a blue box on the existing camera screen to show the current area of crisp focus, enabling…

There are two sides to this coin, the way we see it. On the one hand, the handful of pictures that have just popped over on UMPC Fever demo many of the features we're expecting to see in new iPhone hardware this summer -- magnetic compass , autofocus camera , video recording capability, and a battery percentage meter in the status bar. On the other hand, having a good feel for those rumored features makes it that much easier to mock up ridiculously blurry shots of 'em in action. The compass seems a…
I'm looking at these images from a Hong Kong blog, and they totally look like The Real Thing™ to me. Sure they are blurry, but those applications' user interface definitely screams Apple design. The gallery shows the video/camera screen, compass, and the autofocus, among other things. Yes, the more I look at these images, the more I'm convinced they are the real deal. As we get closer to WWDC, it seems that some stuff may be starting to leak. We saw potential parts from…
Open Salon blogger, Kwame Jones had reported last week that he had stumbled upon a new iTunes Store user interface for downloading movies and TV shows directly on the iPhone, including support for movie rentals via an advertisement in the new ad supported version of iPhone app - Twitterfon. I...

Photos of what looks like the next iPhone running OS 3.0 have surfaced on a Chinese blog. The photos show how recording video and auto-focusing will work within the camera app. Auto-focus works by focusing on a point in the image, shown by a blue outline which can be moved by tapping anywhere on the screen. If the photos are legitimate, then the autofocusing capabilities will be pretty incredible and should have a very noticeable difference, as you can see.
I’m really hoping that the new firmware is released in just a few days at the WWDC event. Until then, I’m going to jailbreak my iPhone again. I’m currently on the newest firmware, 3.0 Beta 5. QuickPWN is able to jailbreak it so, here we go: Download QuickPWN
